Jacob Durst is an Associate at Torridon Law, PLLC, where his practice focuses on complex litigation and regulatory issues.
Prior to joining the firm, Jacob served as an Assistant Attorney General for Strategic Litigation with the Office of the Tennessee Attorney General. In this role, he led high-priority investigations on behalf of the State and managed politically sensitive litigation matters. Jacob began his legal career as an associate at an international law firm and served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable James Wesley Hendrix of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
Jacob earned his J.D. from the SMU Dedman School of Law magna cum laude. He also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Emory University, where he studied finance, political science, and mathematics—a multidisciplinary background that lends valuable analytical depth to his complex commercial and regulatory practice.
