Katz represents U.S. and international clients in state and federal courts and before arbitral tribunals, and in connection with internal and government investigations.

His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, where he has represented corporate clients from the investment management, finance, fashion, arts and entertainment, sports, and technology fields, as well as high net-worth individuals.

Katz also has considerable experience counseling clients on matters involving online privacy and on the rights of secured creditors under Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code. Early in his career, Katz served as a law clerk for the Honorable Cathy L. Waldor, U.S.M.J., of U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, and for the Honorable Robert P. Contillo, P.J.Ch. of the Chancery Division of the New Jersey Superior Court. He graduated from Fordham University School of Law where he was a staff member of the Fordham International Law Journal.
